despite her initial dreams of becoming an animator, kyara fell in love with film when she found out screenwriters didn't need to worry about semi-colons or what the hell a conjunction is. now she dwells in Northampton, working hard for her Bachelor Arts degree in creative film, television and media production.

kyara is a thorough enjoyer of campy arthouse and horror films, she often enjoys seeing the genres blended together.

even after abandoning her dreams of becoming an animator she continues to create art, often mixed media illustrations or collage. If not found in her cave writing or in a record store scavenging the racks for childish gambino and sufjan stevens, she can be found composing mood boards for characters within her screenplays or novels. 

she enjoys dipping into her neurodivergent mind to create off putting and surrealist films, often incorporating social realism in her work.
